I recently funded my 200th microloan on Kiva and also became the captain for MIRI’s lending team.
There are obviously higher impact charities than Kiva for the majority of our philanthropic dollars, like AMF, GiveDirectly, MIRI, CFAR, etc.
But if you’re already part of Kiva and loaning anyway as part of a psychological hack to get “warm fuzzies“, maybe consider joining our lending team for future loans so we can spread awareness of MIRI’s work to people outside our regular cluster.
