How do folks become billionaires?

Dozens of billionaires used the same 3 careers to get rich: Investment, Finance, and Tech Startups. Carl Shulman recently looked at which of these three was most represented in the Forbes List of billionaires.

I note that being born a billionaire is still a more common strategy. Try to do that if at all possible.
