Marius van VoordenThe Bitcoin scripting language, even with all script that is currently unsupported, is intentionally not turing-complete (no loops). This is to reduce the chance of DoS attacks and to allow verification of the code before running it.
I wonder how Ethereum aims to solve DoS attacks…
