Surprisingly, no one actually makes clothes that analyze your workouts, even though it’s obviously a good idea — both for logging and for improving what you do.
So I just pre-ordered this new exertion tracking clothing so I can be one of the first to try it out when it ships later this summer.

Romeo StevensAssuming this is EMG you should be pretty dubious. Most of the people who study exercise think EMG is a pretty poor method of determining true muscular effort AFAIK. Another case of using a measure because it is easy, not because it is accurate.

Louie HelmThat’s too bad EMG is such a fuzzy measurement tool.
Do people who study exercise have any objective measurement that they think is better? Because if their prefered metric is self-report or expert observation, I’m not that interested in their opinion.

TaurusLouie,
Have you taken a look at this non-EMG device? AFAIK, just simple classical mechanics.
