Four New Tools for Brain Workouts

Just as football players lift weights, knowledge workers need to train their core systems to perform.

1. Quantified Mind is a really good way to measure and improve your cognition.

2. Nudger apps are good commitment devices to ingrain habits.

3. Neurofeedback is a powerful tool but really hard to setup if you’re not a DIY biohacker.

4. Lumosity brain training has very flimsy evidence. It’s probably a total waste of time. At least do Dual-N Back, which has weak but slightly more plausible evidence going for it.
