Berkeley — one of a handful of cities irrational enough to ban nuclear energy. I mean, nuclear energy only makes up 70% of the non-CO2 emitting electricity in the US. Let’s ban it!

The best part of the ban? The fact that The University of California flagrantly ignores it. UC-Berkeley asserts that as a state institution, it’s in a position to completely ignore all of Berkeley’s municipal regulations — including this ban. Makes sense. Wonder what other laws they totally ignore?
